In the fact,…. Bigger is better has been the mantra of TV manufactures for quite some time.

Well, Earlier this year we reported about Panasonic’s 150 Inch Plasma TV and Sharp’s 108 Inch LCD TV, so what all the fuss about when Samsung launch a relatively small 82 Inch LCD. Well the difference this time is that Samsung have released a spec sheet with there over sized model, and it looks very impressive. The display delivers a 120Hz refresh rate and has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, which is four times as much as a traditional 1080p display. The screen also uses Samsung’s backlighting system which we checked out at CES earlier this year.

I can’t see the 83 Inch LCD being a huge seller for Samsung especially when its rumored to cost well over £10,000.
